Our next Certified Pullorum Tester Workshops at MSU will be held on May 20, 2024 (SOLD OUT) and June 13, 2024. We will also have another training in Escanaba, Michigan on June 8, 2024 (see here).
The Certified Pullorum Tester Workshop covers:
• Federal and Michigan laws concerning in-state and interstate movement
• Michigan poultry laws for fairs, exhibitions and swap meets
• The National Poultry Improvement Plan’s (NPIP) U.S. Pullorum-Typhoid Clean program
• Training on how to properly conduct a plate test for Salmonella Pullorum.
Cost: $35 for certification (valid for 3 years)
Note: Certified testers must be at least 18 years old.
